Although the following are not Departmental programs, many of these community activity groups are supported by the City through usage of City facilities. Each group offers specialized services and involvement for Beverly Hills residents.

Be a part of the fun by leading a project, assisting with a project or enrolling your child for a wonderful “learning by doing” adventure! Beverly Hills American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO)    (424) 354-9232  
Organized soccer league for children ages 5-16 years. Season operates from September - January. www.ayso76.org

A volunteer-based organization, participants will also learn the game of basketball emphasizing fundamentals and team achievement. Season runs from January - March.  www.bhbasketball.com

Beverly Hills Great Books Discussion Group    (310) 452-7264
Meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, at 6pm, at BH Public Library, 2nd floor, to discuss and analyze great books.

A member based community organization actively preserving, protecting, and promoting the history and heritage of Beverly Hills through education, advocacy and events. Donations accepted.

Preserving and sharing the history of Beverly Hills through talks, lectures, tours and periodic displays at the Beverly Hills Public Library. Donations accepted.

Beverly Hills Lawn Bowling Club    (323) 857-6676
Lawn Bowling is an easy-to-learn lifetime sport for all ages. Everyone is invited to join. Free lessons and equipment are provided. www.bowlnow.org

Beverly Hills Little League and Senior Little League  
Organized baseball program for ages 4 1/2-15 years.  www.bhll.net

Beverly Hills Triathlon Team
This 8 week training program runs out of the West Hollywood Pool/Park and includes swimming, cycling, running, and general conditioning. Each session concludes with the option to participate in a local triathlon event. Training is held 2 nights a week with UCLA triathlon team coaches. A 45-year-old company of professional actors dedicated to presenting theatre at its finest. Located on the campus of Beverly Hills High School in one of the most comfortable, intimate theatres in town.  www.theatre40.org
